I wanted to include you in the friends I'm thankful for. I'm posting part of my facebook entry from this morning even though it's slightly edited here to suit my Susan's friends. Hugs.
Yesterday is past, and today I'm thankful for my new life and friends. I've been a introverted child and teen, a drunken college student, and .... But I've also been a devoted husband, loving father, and helpful neighbor, but always transgender. Now I'm just a retired old lady who doesn't keep up with tech, and sometimes can't even navigate fb. Oh, how age changes our priorities and shows us wonderful new things to love and live.
So, I'd rather sit on a bench doing my nails along the shores of Lake Superior, or on the floor of Yosemite valley than sitting in a city, or browsing on google. Yeah, no matter where life takes me, my friends, the beauty in the world, and the ecstasy derived form being part of it all will always keep me whole.
Have a fantastic day everyone, and live it to the fullest.
I wish you all the joy and happiness of friendships. Our distant and unspoken relationships in print are as real as those we cherish with the people we touch and hold.
So again Happy Thanksgiving.
