OK, call me a cry baby but crying I am, literally. I had my vaginoplasty - SRS, performed February of this year. For those of you who have followed my posts, you know I've had some real complications.
The issues have been, closing. That is to say, that no matter how or what or how often I dilated, I got smaller and smaller. It's gotten to the point that I cannot even get the smallest of stents, dilators, about .375", in without breath taking excruciating pain. And yes, at times end up crying like a baby because I just can't take this kind of pain anymore.
My doctor, Dr. Nguyen of Lake Oswego Oregon, said that he has never seen a case where there has been so much scar tissue build up. There is nothing he can do.
I have an appointment with Dr. Toby Meltzer in Scottsdale Arizona next month to be examined and to also consider having some revision surgery.
This is where I could use some advice. If I am going to have revision surgery performed in the next few months, do I really need to keep dilating - keep myself open? Because I'm sure that once I stopped, I would close completely and in short order.
I could really use some help here as I so desperately want a fully functioning vagina but currently, the pain is far more than I can stand.
