I guess technically I'm bisexual, but honestly I'd say that my sexual orientation and my gender identity are intertwined... I really don't care who's doing the snuggling and sexing as long as I can be the girl. That's what I'm attracted to, is the notion of other people holding me and snuggling with me and getting intimate with me in a female body. And I guess I really don't care which gender is doing it, they're both equally attractive notions to me.

My sexual attraction is mostly to women but it's not very strong. I would say 4/10 women and 2/10 for men. It may sound narcissistic but I'm more attracted to myself for some reason than to others which gives transitioning a really weird spin lol. Anal sex is kind of a turnoff to me so I'm not really Bi yet, though I feel that would be my sexual orientation after SRS. Yeah I know I'm boring haha.

So far we have...

35.2% Bisexual/pansexual
29.6% Gynosexual (attracted to women)
23.2% Androsexual (attracted to men)
7.2% Other
4.8% Asexual

...which is strikingly similar to a certain study's results (from transequlity.org, quote source: Wikipedia):

A survey of roughly 3000 trans women showed that only 23% of them identified as heterosexual, with 31% as bisexual, 29% as lesbian, 7% as asexual, 7% as queer and 2% as "other".

It's also worth mentioning that sexual arousal works differently with woman and men. These shed some light as to how female/male/both are so near each other in the statistics thus far (quotes: Wikipedia):

In a 2004 study, the female subjects (both gay and straight women) became sexually aroused when they viewed heterosexual as well as lesbian erotic films. Among the male subjects, however, the straight men were turned on only by erotic films with women, the gay ones by those with men. The study's senior researcher said that women's sexual desire is less rigidly directed toward a particular sex, as compared with men's, and it's more changeable over time.

Another study on men and women's patterns of sexual arousal confirmed that men and women have different patterns of arousal, independent of their sexual orientations. The study found that women's genitals become aroused to both human and nonhuman stimuli from movies showing humans of both genders having sex (heterosexual and homosexual) and from videos showing non-human primates (bonobos) having sex. Men did not show any sexual arousal to non-human visual stimuli, their arousal patterns being in line with their specific sexual interest (women for heterosexual men and men for homosexual men).

Yikes, that's a lot of hostility I didn't expect. If you read the rest of the Wikipedia article you'll see that simple biological arousal and actual sexual interest in the actions depicted had nothing to do with each other and it says so specifically. The point was that a person identifying as male tends to only get aroused by folks suiting their orientation, while people identifying as women focus not just only on folks aligning with their orientation, but more so on other aspects.

Honestly I'm not interested in raising the stress level in this thread so I'm just going to say that I found it interesting that the answers in this thread's poll, Bi/Pan > Female > Male > Others, was something I saw elsewhere, and I'll leave it at that.

When you combine that with the fact that I was actually raped, well... It makes me feel sick. Sick that I think about this, that I enjoy it. That it might mean that I actually DID enjoy the rape... I don't know, I just... I thought I'd let you know that from someone experiencing it firsthand.
