I have rape fantasies and then some, but it really is just that, a fantasy. If someone rapes me, by definition I wouldn't welcome it and probably wouldn't enjoy it. It is unwanted. If I actually wanted to be raped I would in a sense be consenting and then it wouldn't be considered rape.

Maybe we could talk about E=MC^2 or is that more physics than math

The math topic was much better, IMO ;)

On fantasy... a lot of people would consider us pretty freaky to have fantasies about gender change (often forced). This is covered in "Whipping Girl" and in many of our closeted experiences.

I understand rape hits close to home for many, and for that I'm sorry... but please separate fantasy from reality. Most fantasies are just that and would be truly horrible if they'd happen in real life.

I used to have that fantasy when I was a teenager but stopped it in my early twenties when I realized It definitely would not be a good thing to really happen. I had a friend who was a incredibly  beautiful girl in her early 20' s who was brutally beaten in her face by a person she worked for who tried to rape her . she was also  an athletic girl who fought back. Luckily she survived. I saw her on the street after it happened and her face was totally black and blue. So I have to say rape fantasy or real is not good.

Erm, may I be the voice of reason and suggest we move away from the "rape fantasy" discussion?  Not that it bothers me at all and I agree with the "fantasy" vs "reality" point, but at the same time I can see and sympathise with how it's a bit of a touchy subject especially for those who have experienced the real thing.  Probably best just to let it go, eh gals? ;) *hugs*

So back onto more important things!  Maths!  Yay! *claps excitedly* ;D  gosh, if mathematical equations were a gender, then Shrodinger's time-dependant wave equation would toly be my type!  ..or perhaps not.. I won't know unless I look at it ;)

(anyone?)

Reminder from Admin. Discussions of rape can be triggering to many of our members, especially for those who have experienced sexual abuse.

so if the time dependent equation is f then the time independent is m or is it the other way around .  so transgendender means going from time-dependent to time-independent

Honestly, the most disturbing thing I read in that post was about how women have rape fantasies.

I do...

When you combine that with the fact that I was actually raped, well... It makes me feel sick. Sick that I think about this, that I enjoy it. That it might mean that I actually DID enjoy the rape... I don't know, I just... I thought I'd let you know that from someone experiencing it firsthand.

I'm gonna go now, I think I need a good cry...

Actually, rape fantasies are extremely common in women - both rape survivors and those who aren't. In rape survivors, it may be a tool to reframe the assault - only this time with the victim in control of what happens. Even if she is being overpowered and controlled in the fantasy - it is an illusion because she is controlling the fantasy. Despite the way it looks, rape fantasies are about as far from actual rape as one can get. Actual rape all comes down to a lack of control over what is happening. In a fantasy, the one fantasizing controls the scene and what the perpetrator is doing. So even if a rape fantasy resembles the violence of an actual rape, it lacks this essential element, making it very far removed.

(and yes, there should probably be a trigger warning if this discussion continues)

Really??  Can we say Heisenberg....  Solve the thing for oh, something larger than silicon..  Without a computer.  That will keep you busy for a few years.

To move forward is to leave behind that which has become dear. It is a call into the wild, into becoming someone currently unknown to us. For most, it is a call too frightening and too challenging to heed. For some, it is a call to be more than we were capable of being, both now and in the future.

Did you know that the M in E = MC2 is not the mass we all know and love, it is actually the relative mass of an object?  That's right folks, mass increases with velocity...

It's the solution to an intergral:  E=MC2 + C.  That "C" makes things "bendable" when working with a real world solution....

I was going to tell you maths guys to get a room, but then I thought it would be more fun to make a room for you!  Go to the following thread and geek it out to your heart's content:

Before HRT I was almost exclusively attracted to men, but now I'm noticeably more bisexual.

Still prefer guys 2 to 1 though.

Relatively young transitioner here (started 10 years ago at 23), never had an interest in men. Goes against the stereotype, which is frustrating. Also frustrating how in my "normal" life where I pass I get asked about my husband or boyfriend.

First world passing trans problems, I know.

I've been like this about guys lately.  Want to try, but alot of them are so disgusting, it just ruins it.  At the end of the day though, i think women are more emotionally satisfying to be with in a relationship.  And sexually, they can do pretty much anything a guy can for you(if not better sometimes).  I so wish there was a good crowd of Trans people here.  I'd love to be able to date within the trans community over random strangers.

That itself has me lose so much hope in humanity, I can't begin to describe.

Ive Had those before and so have some of my friends.  I've even got a friend who roleplays that with her man.  The thing is(at least for me being a submissive), the feeling of loss of power and control, while still knowing your safe. But i suppose having a trusted partner is paramount in some kind of experience like that and setting rules/safewords.

Real rape is traumatic and horrific, nobody wants that.  I honestly dont believe there is a single person in the world who truly wants to be raped, no matter how messed up they are.
