Carole King's music is such a blessing, her voice is the same range as mine although I might drop it down one step to get a fuller sound on the high notes, I just downloaded her album Tapestry and am learning all her hit songs, the other day I was singing Will You Still Love Me tomorrow with my i-pod waiting for the bus and these two guys across the street heard me and applauded and blew kisses!
There is one line that never hit me before, listening to these songs is completely different now as a transitioned woman:
