High T levels

Today my doctor let me know that my T levels in my blood are quite high. I believe she said it was 60 nanomoles per liter (I think that is the unit). Anything between 11 and 30 is good, so it was way too high. I'm using a normal, recommended dose of Sustanon, which is injected every two weeks. My doctor advised me to half the dose and also said that my acne problem might be due to the high T levels.

However, I wonder how taking half a dose works. Doesn't it just provide the normal peak, and just runs out quicker so at the end of the cycle, I won't have any testosteron anymore until my next shot? Or does it just peak less, but is still available throughout the two week period? I really hope it is the latter, because that is what I need. If it still peaks as high and just runs out quicker, it won't do me much good. Anyone knows? Anyone had a similar problem?

I had high T levels a few months back, mine was around 58 so my Dr cut my injection dose in half.  My Dr was more concerned because my blood count was also high (hematocrit was 53%), which she believed was caused by the high T levels, so I had to also go donate blood.  Cutting your dose just provides you with less T in your system.  I haven't felt any different since my dosage was halved, I was worried that the changes that were pretty consistent would slow down or worse stop.  My Dr assured me that we would keep watch of the changes and continue to monitor my levels.  If you do feel any symptoms that you were not feeling on the full dose I would mention to your Dr and maybe see if you could inject weekly.  Some guys find that they feel better injecting weekly vs. every two weeks, everyone is different and I think it also depends on the type of T you are using.  I am not as familiar with Sustanon as I have only used Cypionate.

My acne was out of control, but my Dr at that same appointment prescribed an antibiotic and now my acne is totally cleared up, so I am not sure if it is the antibiotic or the decrease in my T levels.  Good luck to you.

I got too high, don't really know the comparable blood level. But it was something like double the high level. My doctor halved my dose. Funny thing re: absorption as I am on the t-cream.

I can't really say what will happen with the absorption, I've never heard anyone using half doses of Sustanon even if it's one of the most common T types here. The half dose thing just made me wonder what would you do the remaining half left in the ampoule (this is assuming Sustanon comes in ampoules everywhere). I mean, I don't think you can just put a makeshift cork in it and use it once the time comes?

But I personally think it's better to have a bit less T in your system than too much since - from what I've read - excess T turns into estrogen which I suppose isn't very positive.

Provided you are taking it at the same frequency, this is how it should work.

The amount you're injecting has little to do with how much your body is absorbing. Dosage is tailor made to how effectively a person can absorb the hormone. What is a good dose for one person may be too little or too much for another. Had to explain this to bodybuilders sometimes and they just don't get it, think that more T= more growth XD

I know, such a waste, but I think it has to do with being contaminated once you open the vial. Good point about the estrogene. I don't know if that happened. When I asked if my other blood values were good, the doctor told me yes without turning specific, so I think I'm 'safe'

That's what I thought. Considering the liquid starts contaminating the moment the ampoule is opened, keeping it open for a week wouldn't be very good idea.
And if the T had started to turn into estrogen I think you would've noticed some unwanted changes already. I suppose the T level needs to be VERY high for that to happen.

But about the peaking with Sustanon, that's not something new to across with for me. It seems to be relatively common problem with Sustanon, it makes the T level skyrocket before balancing out again. I haven't noticed anything like that myself and I've been on Sustanon since March, counting out a small period with gel during summer because PROBLEMZ.

What if you draw into two syringes the T? You can close the end of the needle and when you need the other half just grab it and inject. I'm almost sure it's still not a good idea but what if?

I just keep my vials and use the second half even though it's recommended not to by my doctor. The nurses seemed fine with the idea though.

Those levels are extremely high. Also it's more like 25-30 as being an acceptable range, at least that's what I personally believe since I'm 22. Not sure how old you are. At the bare minimum 20 would be okay. Below that cismales experience issues due to low hormones. I'm at 23.5 and I wish I was more at 30 and at least 25.
