Thanks Cindy.

I am just sick and tired of feeling this way.

I feel like I'm being dishonest by not exploring my feelings openly with my wife, but I can't bring my self to tell her explicitly that I've gone from vague gender issues to "I'm a woman and I want my body to match that more"

Shirley Temple, iconic child star, dies at 85

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Shirley Temple, the dimpled, curly-haired child star who sang, danced, sobbed and grinned her way into the hearts of Depression-era moviegoers, has died, according to publicist Cheryl Kagan. She was 85.

Temple, known in private life as Shirley Temple Black, died Monday night at about 11 p.m. at her home near San Francisco. She was surrounded by family members and caregivers, Kagan said.

"We salute her for a life of remarkable achievements as an actor, as a diplomat, and most importantly as our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and adored wife for fifty-five years of the late and much missed Charles Alden Black," a family statement said

I like my friend and he's actually pretty informative and understand of trans issues usually, but...
Yesterday, we were talking about vikings and another guy told me I should have lived back then. I told him I probably wouldn't have done very well back then (due to the trans thing, but I left that implied). S spoke up and said that female-bodied people were allowed to be warriors back then. He seemed to understand when I pointed out that a shield maiden is still a maiden and I am not a maiden.
I'm not sure if I should be worried or not since in the same conversation, he explained to the other guy that being trans is a medical condition caused by how the brain develops, but for some reason, this still bugs me.

I can relate, I think I'm falling in love a third time, with the guy who used my spare bed last night, but he's more into guys :/

All three times it's been one sided. *sigh*

Me too except the guy I like too much is straight.
Last time I fell in love though, he was with an abusive alcoholic.

I only had one hoodie...and someone put it in the dryer even though I've asked people not to touch my laundry and I do it when no one is using the machines. It shrank, and you can see my hairy butt/lower back. -_- I don't have the money to buy a new sweater either, so I pretty much have no long-sleeved shirts now.

I'd send you the two dude sweatshirts I have.

Found out that the doctor I'm supposed to see for hormones neither accepts my insurance nor new patients. Strike 2, I've only got one left.

My mom made me sad by asking about an old friend of mine I'm trying to forget.  I know she didn't mean to, but it still....

PM'd you. Also, I really hope the last Dr. works out. :( You deserve a break from all the crap you've had to put up with.

I'm also unhappy that every now and again my ex cares to remind me of how much I upset her during our relationship (which ended three years ago...). She doesn't fully trust me. We've gotten to a point where we can talk and watch shows together every week or so, which took ages, but every now and again something I do reminds her of stuff she doesn't want to remember. It's pretty hurtful, because I have changed a lot. She acts like she still knows me. In some ways she does, but I made the comment to her yesterday that she only sees me once every couple of weeks and actually has no idea what is going on with me in my life...and she just got upset and said that it didn't even matter because we aren't in a relationship, so why should she know all about my life? And then I asked her what was bothering her, and she said she didn't care enough to explain and left.

My brother thinks it means she's not actually over me. I don't think that's true, because she's had a crush for over a year on someone else now, but whether or not she's over me isn't really my concern. I just worry that I'll mess up future relationships in the same way I messed up the last one. But, there's a lot of evidence to suggest that isn't true.

Just searched for them on the Tricare directory; they're not on there in-network or out-network. None of the three doctors I could see that aren't gatekeepers are.

Help, I'm lost and scared, and I don't know what to do :'(

Maybe you'd have better luck with some other gatekeeper doctors (since your post kind of implied you're only looking for ones that aren't)? I mean, just because the one you dealt with on campus was difficult, doesn't mean other gatekeepers would be quite as strict. Assuming insurance would cover some of them anyway...

*hug* Don't give up. Even if it takes longer than you'd like to find it, there's an option out there for you somewhere.

Just had a truly horrid dream about being burned at the stake for being a witch in a small village somewhere in Eastern Europe. Woke up in floods of tears and with a monumental headache.

Ugh.

There are four doctors in the area authorised to prescribe hormones. Three don't take my insurance. The one on campus is gatekeeping. Howard Brown doesn't take my insurance and their sliding scale is useless because I have a high family income. Maybe I should quickly transfer to UBE in Argentina.
