My best friend has been diagnosed with breast cancer and will be having a biopsy tomorrow. While not much is known yet, the prognosis does seem to be very good. Still, I've known her since 1987 and I'm scared.

At least you can afford it. My beard is getting really rough, and just adding and adding on to my depression. I can't go more than a day without shaving it before it gets rough and starts being somewhat noticeable in skin texture. I can't afford electrolysis or laser until summer, which, if I can get a job, will eat up about half of my weekly pre-tax income.
So much for saving for spending money for the next school year and surgery and buying new clothes. I'd gladly take double the pain in exchange for the costs.

I kept dreaming about chemistry homework. Except, it being a dream, I couldn't see any questions, so I just concentrated really hard. So hard that I kept waking myself up and I gave myself a headache. Great.

Have you tried Home-Electrolysis?
I have a kit called Deluxe Home Electrolysis that I use to treat my upper lip with and I actually think that it does work!
The price wasn't that high either. The machine cost about $50 and every needle costs about $2-3 or so.
It is time-consuming, but if you are willing to try it it's always something!

Would that be acceptable though? She didn't exactly say anything to Emily. So maybe that would have come back to hit her. I don't know that much about how you behave in social situations because of my Aspergers. I might be wrong about this.

Too bad you weren't so surprised by her bold behavior that you didn't accidentally trip and knock her phone on the floor and put a heel on it hard as you regained your balance. 

But best to just blow it off as some rude bitch with no proper upbringing or manners.
