A Year On T...Acne NOW?!

December 18th is my one year on T mark (woo hoo). Everything is going at a reasonable pace. I'm passing effortlessly and the only real crappy things I deal with is a bit of thinning hair (it's probably more noticeable to me than anyone else) and acne. Tuesday I went to my Endo and since everything looks great (My total T is right at 800) we've decided to leave everything as it is...I can't lie though, I'm kinda 'over' sticking a needle in my thigh every week, lol. Good thing I can do it without even really thinking about it now.

Anyways, in the past month I'd say my acne is getting bad. It's almost like a rash that spread. It started on my shoulders, then moved down my back, and just recently in the past month...my face. Body acne didn't bother me really. I mean it can be a little annoying but it's not embarrassing like pizza face. I thought for most guys facial acne started within the first 6 months? I thought I'd dodged that bullet.

Does anyone know of specific products that work well on acne and aren't expensive (I'm not willing to spend more than $20 a month). I've switched shampoos, soaps, and laundry products but nothing has made a difference for long. Thanks.

Lately I have been using dial antibacterial soap and it has cleared up cysts on my body and my face. I got a big 1L bottle half price recently and it smells nice too.

Winter tends to dry out skin, with all the dry air from heaters and whatnot. So your body is probably making oil in overdrive to compensate for that. I'd say try and moisturize your skin so that your body will stop trying so hard to do it for you.

Be weird. Be random. Be who you are. Because you never know who would love the person you hide.

Thanks guys, I'll try some liquid dial some unscented lotion and see what it does. It's an odd feeling having large zits on my face. I've had blackheads here and there before but not big red bumps. Even during my first puberty I didn't have this issue. I don't focus on it too much and try not to pick at it. Does suck when it's in your facial hair and you shave over it though, lol.

We talked a little about it in "still searching for an acne cure": (which my stupid phone won't paste the link  >:(, its currently on page 3 of ftm).
