breast growth

Recently I have seen a fair amount of breast growth in the last six to eight weeks, to the point where they are obvious no matter what I wear with the exception of this really last sweater. I'm very happy that they are growing and definitely are girly breasts rather than man boobs. Back about six weeks ago my doctor started me on progesterone and it is too early to tell how it's working. Right now I'm feeling self conscious about them and to me they do look pretty awkward with their size and shape plus I have these stretch marks surrounding both my nipples. It's funny how I'm loving them but feel really awkward about them and I do love having my own breasts. So now that they are really growing what should I expect with them, I'm 22 and five months old and every girl in my family has larger breasts for their bodies.

im interested in your progesterone meds, are you taking it on a daily basis? or cyclic? is it in addition to anti andro's and E? or is it just an anti andro/progesterone med like cypro?

i originally started on cypro and had better results than i do now with spiro, and am debating changing for the progesterone addition that cypro brings tot the table but don't know how effective it really is

And it's funny how I have to touch them so much just to make sure they're really their among other things XD

I think within a few months I'll be able to tell you guys how well the progesterone is working!

If you're looking to keep your breast development under wraps until you're ready to fully transition try wearing looser shirts and jackets. It's best not to bind them as this will be painful and also potentially stunt their growth and flatten them, not a result most cis and trans  women would want.

Actually I'm not trying to do much. I usually wear a sports bra and will do what I can to pass in girl mode which is getting easier to do. In such a good way I'm so not used to the girls lol

You've just described at least 50% of the genetic women in the world. I guess this means you're in the club now.

You won't get any useful answer to that question because everyone develops differently-- at different rates and to different sizes and shapes. These days the old idea that you will be one size less than female family members has been disputed quite a lot since there has never been a legitimate study to back up that assumption.

Just stay patient, Riley Skye.  Keep walking, because it is a long road, and a good one. 

Eventually you will wear an ordinary everyday bra for support and -- if your family history is an indication -- a sturdy bra at that.  It's normal.
