so the one that has bothering me a lot lately is the size of my feet, there 11 inches long and i can barely fit into a size 11 im just wondering if any other of you girls are in the same boat and how you deal with it, i want to buy good brands of shoes and not stripper shoes since they are the only one that go that big

I am not personally in that situation, but I have a few cis female friends who are. They find cute shoes at some of the discount shoe places. The ones that sell for warehouse prices seem to have a decent selection.

At 6'3" I'm really lucky to have fairly "petite" feet (only ten inches long and very narrow) - I see so many men, shorter than me, with much larger feet. Still, I need special larger women's sizes too. There are heaps of online shoe sellers specialising in larger shoes for women. In Australia I'm spoiled for choice and there's even a shop local to me that specialises in shoes for larger women's shoes. Presumably there must be plenty of options in North America, try Googling "large women's shoes" and your local state. Good luck shoe shopping! :D

I am right there with you.  I absolutely love shoes.com, though.  They might be expensive, but their selection is awesome.

With mismatched feet (my left has issues fitting into a 12, while my right fits comfortable into an 11) is really hard for me. You're not alone.
I use Payless. Decent selection in large sizes, good prices, but not always the best quality. I knew I'd have to make a sacrifice somewhere though, unless I wanted to pay over $100 for a decent pair of boots in my size. I got a nice pair for $30. Not the best quality, but they're shoes, they fit well enough, and they didn't cost a bomb

Are you on HRT? I started off pre-hormones at a 10.5-11, and now fit into 9.5-10s mostly. Also, Sears store brand shoes seem to run big; I'm about a size smaller in those than in most shoes, which would make a difference for you, since 11 is at the top of the "sometimes available in department stores" range but 10s generally are there.

Has anyone every looked at the feet of someone who they were reading as female and said "Wait a minute, those feet are slightly too large. I guess that must be a guy after all..."? Pretty sure that never happens.

my daughter wears a size 13. I wouldn't worry about it. She is very beautiful and I haven't heard any of her boyfriends mention her feet.

Think u might be surprised then. It is unusual but it has been known to happen. And it might be simply be because of my large feet but i notice more people noticing

I wear US women's 10, UK 8 or 265 mm. In my country, most shoe stores do not keep my size, but I can order online. In the U.S., usually they keep up to US size 10. Recently I ordered UK 8 from England.

I saw a lot of sexy shoes of US Women's size 11 or even 13 in Payless shoes.

Oh yes, I can relate to this.  ;) I'm a sz. 13 men.  The million dollar question - where does a transwoman find shoes worth buying that don't look like hooker shoes or little-old-lady-in-a-nursing-home shoes?  (not that I have any problem with little old ladies in nursing homes)
I can sometimes wear a 12w in women's, but 13 is better.  As most of you know all too well...all decent selection in women's shoes stops at 10.  Notice I didn't say 'cute' because cute doesn't often apply after sz. 10. Yes, there's Payless, and they look ok, but the selection is fairly limited.  There's always color Converse Chuck Taylor, or Vans, (somewhat unisex) which are somewhat 'cute', but only work for certain occasions.

However the elusive women's 15-16 is a rare beastie.

You'd think so wouldn't you?  ;)
Sorry to hear though that you need to find 15-16 size shoes... is it possible that will come down at least a size with weight loss/HRT, I'm a bit clueless on those things.

Really?  weight loss/HRT reduces foot size?   First time I heard that one.   :)
As far as size 15...if you actually wear a men's 13 and you're basing that on needing 2 sizes larger in women's (like most will tell you), that rule isn't always true at all.

I don't know about HRT, some people have claimed it happens for them. It didn't happen for me as far as I know.

I have read that weight loss won't necessarily shrink your size, but it often gives more narrow feet, depending on how overweight the individual is; if someone is obese or noticeably overweight, it isn't unheard of. Someone who is only 10-20 pounds overweight is likely not to notice any difference.

>_< I've been trying to order some ankle boots but most of the ones I liked only went up to size 8. And the one pair that went to size 12 was sold out. :'( I suppose I should be glad I'm not a size 13 anymore though. >_>

I've recently found this store for larger size shoes.
http://www.jessicalondon.com/Plus-Size-Shoes-and-Accessories.aspx?DeptId=10388
They don't go over 13, but they do have wide widths.

I've had success with 6pm.com.  I wear size 11 1/2 double wide, and I've managed to pick up a few pair over the past year or so that I like a lot.  Their selection for that size is somewhat limited, but they carry name brands and rotate stock regularly (I think it's Zappos overstock site).

Good luck in your search!
