01/10/15 - 157 lbs. (I realize it was Saturday and not Friday, but I was running late to work on Friday morning and didn't have time).
01/16/15 - 156.5 lbs.
01/23/15 - 155 lbs.
01/30/15 - 153 lbs.
02/05/15 - 152.5 lbs. (Thursday, not Friday but still good!)
02/13/15 - 150.0 lbs.
02/20/15 - 149.5 lbs. ..... Been on HRT for almost two weeks at this point
02/27/15 - 150.5 lbs. ..... binge eating week since it was my birthday on Wednesday. Back on track though!

Wynternight, congratulations on that weight loss.  Coming someone else starting at the 350+ mark, any suggestions for losing weight?

A few years ago when I was running every day I got down to 180. At 6'2" tall thought I looked a little too thin. So I'm not sure what my target range is but I think 165-175 may be good.  The ideal weight calculator says 160-172.

Protein!! Lots of it. Cut out soda and sweets completely. Drink a lot of water. Six small meals a day. Walk 30 minutes a day. Use the stairs everywhere you go, park as far from the store as you can. Anything to increase your activity.

Breakfast for me yesterday was an 80 calorie Banana Cream Danon Light Greek Yogurt and a Fiber one Bar. Lunch was a 100 calorie Greek Yogurt and Fiber One bar. Protein shake for mid-morning snack. Dinner was a cup of left over pasta. Protein bar for a mid-afternoon snack and a Fiber one bar for an evening snack. Today I had one hard boiled egg and a slice of bacon for breakfast, protein shake for a snack, lunch will be a stuffed green pepper, protein bar for afternoon snack, finish the pasta tonight for dinner and Fiber One bar for evening snack. Drink cold water whenever you feel hunger pangs because it will help!

Thanks.  Hunger pangs are my biggest thing.  I just have to work through them.  I've cut out soda and I've greatly cut back on sweets.  I hate yogurt. [emoji37] But I have been increasing my protein and reducing carbs.  Exercise is up.  Glad to see I'm on the right road.  Thank you!

Hunger pangs suck but a few big swallows of water really do help and it keeps you hydrated so double goodness!

Hmmm... I was not feeling well this week and did miss a workout. Thanks for sharing the tips Wynternight, and your progress and lifestyle change is exactly what I have been working towards. So your wisdom is greatly appreciated. I have the water part down, but I still get too wound up with anxiety sometimes, which is my real weakness as I do stress eat too often still. That being said, I remember when I was getting help for weight loss before I found my real problem. They'd read a list of reasons that may be what triggers my eating and once they got to the end of the list I said "yes."
"To which one? Or... Did you mean all of them?"
"Yes, all of those and a few more." I laughed.
I really enjoyed eating and "so what" if I died right? At least that is how I felt then.
At least now I get irritated with myself when I screw up and use it for motivation to imporve. Also, steps of my transition have also aided me in getting out of ruts. It does come off slower now that I have lost a lot, but it is also the bad half of the year for me (fall and winter) and I have not really done that bad. Your tips and story will help!! Everyone here is awesome, but you are definitely one of the All-Stars on this thread!

02/06/2015: 192.5 lb on the old machine (where I weighed myself the last few weeks) and 195.3 lb on a new one.
02/13/2015: 192.5 lb on the new machine.
02/20/2015: 191 lb
02/28/2015 (Saturday morning instead of usual Friday evening): 190.8 lb
Seem to be hitting a plateau. Not good enough.  :-\
