Not quite fair.  Some of our newer folks really have no idea how well they pass, at least in terms of facial features.  It is a quite common psychological phenomenon.

I agree. I roll my eyes a bit when this happens, but understand the angst is legitimate. It's very important to give these people positive, candid feedback to help them see themselves as we do.

I don't know...I don't really worry about it. I judge how I am seen out in the world instead.
