Harlow

I would like an opinion of what FFS procedures I may want to look into now that I'm living full time.

Honest and positive criticism please  ;D

This one is pre HRT but it's only been 4 months. Hair is different but the face is a clear shot so thought it still gave a good perspective on my facial features straight on :)

Harlow,

In order of priority: Chin, nose, eyebrows up/hair line down, possible cheek implants.

Not nearly the list I have!!! :embarrassed:  Your eyes are to die for.

Hugs,

Jen
To move forward is to leave behind that which has become dear. It is a call into the wild, into becoming someone currently unknown to us. For most, it is a call too frightening and too challenging to heed. For some, it is a call to be more than we were capable of being, both now and in the future.

To add on to what Jen said, many surgeons offer free consultations, often available over email. I think they will be able to answer your questions about what to get and how much it will cost for you.
Hey, you've reached Lauren's signature! If you have any questions, want to talk, or just need a shoulder to cry on, leave me a message, and I'll get back to you.
*beep*

Full time: 12/12/13
Started hormones: 26/3/14
FFS: No clue, winter/spring 2014/15 maybe?
SRS: winter/spring 2014/15?

Hi Harlow, it looks to me like you might be fine with a Type 1 forehead operation (shaving only, not reconstruction), included with brow lift and hairline reshaping.

A slight rhinoplasty or radix graft to match the new forehead contour would be optional, and lateral (side to side) chin contouring would help to round out the front view of your chin.

You have a wonderful side profile and are already beautiful :) Let us know how any consultations go, and best of luck to you!

Thanks JL Willow and Jenny! I appreciate it. My chin is my biggest concern, I've always loved my nose but we'll see. Just looking at all my options now that my mom and dad are 100% behind me  ;D

Dear Harlow, do your home work, go to FFS-support, yahoo group. See the website of all the surgeons. There are several differents btw each other. Try to contact with other patients. Look at here, Abby for example, who did her FFS last week, with a fantastic result.....contact her to share her experience.
My personal view is different than I read before. I hope you have a beautiful face, but to be a complete female face, you need a complete facial remodeling, your chin, nose and your forehead & orbital remodeling with a reconstructive approach not only a shaving.

Of course, it always depends on the quality and depth of the result you are looking for.

Merry Christmas.

S.

Thanks Samantha, I will definitely look into that! Thanks for the resources and Merry Christmas to you too :)

Awe thanks Jen! Yes I'm blessed, even though I'm quite tall (6'1") I have a pretty feminine physique and also close to no body hair! I just need a little tweak here and there and I think I'll be quite pleased :)

before deciding on any chin/jaw work try growing your hair a little longer to balance things a little but do have a look at Sly Stallone's mother to see how her chin job went wrong when the surgeon cut the nerve that keeps the lower lip in place as you don't want to end up with a slack drooling mouth.

Yikes!! That poor woman looks just like her son, both had horrible work done.

I'm definitely going to have way longer hair by the time I get any surgeries done as I have no idea how I'd afford them. I'm thinking my parents would help me out, as they seemed to be open to, and supportive of SRS if I choose that down the road. So I think that would be a possibility especially since they both have had face lifts, so they are pro plastic surgery anyway. But it would still be down the road, just trying to see what needs the most work as my goal is to go very minimal and not a complete overhaul.

I totally agree especially about the radix graft. I think that the radix graft would fix your forehead without burring. And perhaps slight work done on the tip of your nose. But I would keep it for later, because it can be done in office under local anesthetic.
