hey guys, I really need your help. im 18 yrs old and I feel so lonely and depressed. im a very girly gay and everyone thought im a woman. all the straight acting guys also hates me. or not attracted to me. I feel so sad that I have to go through this always. im not a drag queen or flamer. I just wanna be a gay who is very feminine in a relationship and boyfriend who could protect me. sometimes I thought that its better to be a transgender but Im afraid to my parents. I hate seeing lovely couple down the street hugging, kissing. I don't know who hates me or likes me. I think all masculine gays go to guys like them and they were never attracted to GIRLY GAYs *sigh* so hard. I really  don't know who likes me or not? what should I do? I tried myself to look like a girl? and all my crushes were straight guys and im rarely attracted to gay guys.. I tried to be humble and feminine as I could? is there a chance where a straight guy would be attracted to me??? once again, im not a flamer but.. I don't know what to call myself? I feel so jealous to every girl. help me I am dying inside :( and I am also tired of all the fake smiles. pfft*

Welcome to Susan's.

It sounds like you are hurting a lot. I think you have many questions and need to sort out, in your own mind who you are. Once that piece is figured out, you mind will calm enough to deal with the rest. It is very lonely road when you want so much to have comfort and companionship and find yourself rejected at every turn.

To help sort this out, a therapist can do wonders. If you find one who is learned in gender issues, it is better. I don't know where you are from or what the other circumstances are in your life so what help I can give is limited. There are online qualified therapists if nothing else.

Stay with us, you will find having a place to go and share those thoughts and, good or bad, travel the future with friends and like minded people.

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me
