The two big ones for me would be powerstone and bloody roar. Anyone else have any fond memories of games they would like to see brought back?

Good versions of Red Alert and Command and Conquer...but I think that is a pipe dream at this point sadly. :(

Yeah I thought one of the big studios was making a new c&c, but it suddenly got canceled.

Does Half-Life count? (I like to think someone's still working on it somewhere.) I also wish Disney hadn't cancelled 1313 after buying Star Wars rights...

It's like Pong! I remember Pong... If only they'd make a modern blockbuster out of that game. They already did it with Battleship and The Mario Brothers... What could possibly go wrong?

Omg same here.

I'm still dreaming of a DBZ: Budokai Tenkaichi HD Collection for the PS3.  It doesn't even have to be HD....  I have no clue why there's a Budokai HD collection without a Budokai Tenkaichi One

I would also love to see Kelly Slater's Pro Surfery get revived.  The game was beautiful on the PS2, but it has a chance to look abosolutely stunning for the PS3.  Even Tony Hawk has called for its revival.  While I'm on Tony Hawk, I think Tony Hawk's Underground 2 should be revived too.  I wouldn't mind going for a GTA: Vice City revival either.

The "Legacy of Kain" series.  I love the Shakespearian voice acting and the entire plot surrounding Nosgoth.  It has such a good story and they could so much more with it using modern day gaming advancements.

Other than that, I'd love to see a reboot of Final Fantasy 7 and 8.  Even though they are perfect as they are (imo), it would be fun to relive as they were very important aspects to my childhood.

The Gothic series (only if it's good again).

Actually chances are good for it returning.

And no, it's got nothing to do with goth-culture.

Its spiritual successor is the Risen series, made by the same developer while they didn't have the rights to it. It's just as good.

I mean this with all sincerity:

Text-Based Interactive Fiction!

There is a unique and beautiful art to text-dependent gaming that has been lost in the contemporary gaming world. This sort of game demands tremendous imagination on the part of the designer and gamer. The worlds can be as immersive as a good novel.

I'd like to see a starwars battlefront 3, the first two were really fun.

I think most games I used to love have lost it, such as the new halos.
