Dr. John Zinsser?

I came across a page that listed FTM top surgeons and their costs. At the top of the list is a doctor I've never heard anything about, Dr. John Zinsser in Virginia. His office is just a few hours away from my house and they listed his prices between $3000 to $4200?! Looked at his site and the Trans section is under construction. Of course I wouldn't go to a surgeon blindly. Does anyone here know of where there may be results online? Does anyone have any experience with him? I've looked at the regular places for pics and haven't come across anything yet.

Those numbers don't sound totally unreasonable, if it is just the surgery. There may very well be added costs and that is just the surgeons fees.

Yeah, called their office and was quoted over the phone at $6700 including everything. Asked about photos of results but they only share them if you do a consultation in office, but in a month or two their trans section of their page should have results up. I'm interested in seeing what he can do.

It's competitive when you add in the other costs. $6700 was a little less than I paid for Dr G (including pathology) and same day surgery fees. Make sure you see results that are similar to your chest.

I live pretty close to Zinsser's office, and actually went in for a consult last week. Him and his staff were quite nice, and he really showed interest in me and knowledge about top surgery. I am not yet sure if I'm going to have surgery with him, but that is primarily because he really only does the DI method, and I want to talk to some other doctors before I decide to see if I can possibly get peri since I have a small chest. His DI results looked good though- he's got experience with some bigger guys and was still able to prevent much dog-earring and things like that. If you have any more specific questions, I can try to help based on what I found out at the consultation!

Would you say his results are very similar in quality to Dr. Medalie and Dr. Garammone? Does the DI look good on average sized guys?
