Last night, Calico had to be taken via ambulance to the hospital.  We do not yet know the severity of the situation.  She recently had massive spinal surgery and is just a few months post SRS.  She is currently undergoing tests and being evaluated.  To quote Calico, "I am not gonna lie, I am scared, in pain and well depressed."  Coming from someone who has gone through all that she has, I find I am very worried.

If you would like to send her something, please contact me (JLT1) via PM and I'll send you her personal information.

If your religion or beliefs endorse prayer, please remember Calico in your prayers. If not, please send good wishes and thoughts to our sister Calico during this time.

JLT1 may post more info.

I hope Calico gets better, and that it's not some nasty infection. :(

I'll request her name to be put in Ardas on Sunday.

I know it has to be hard for her. Hope it all turns out to be ok and she gets back to recovery of her health.

Oh my god.

Calico, you have a big heart and many of us appreciate that about you.  You've made it through so much before that I have no doubt that you will be able to defeat this.  We're all here for you.  Get better!

Calico, I'm always so impressed by your strength. You have the strength you need to see this all through and come out on the other side better than ever.

I'm sending good thoughts your way.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

Well, they ran an MRI.  If that turns out OK, things are good.  However, I have not heard from her on how the MRI turned out.  I am still unsure what is wrong.  However, Calico seemed a little more optimistic but she still feels low.  She said to thank you all for your posts and concern.  I thank you as well.

Hugs,

Jen
To move forward is to leave behind that which has become dear. It is a call into the wild, into becoming someone currently unknown to us. For most, it is a call too frightening and too challenging to heed. For some, it is a call to be more than we were capable of being, both now and in the future.
