Hi all,

I acknowledge that doing things one way may not be suitable for each person, but I thought I'd share with you the hair removal method that I've been using. It has certainly made an enormous difference and I hope it can help some others who are fed up with having to shave all the time!

I decided, after a long time of shaving, to give waxing a go. I bought some "Parissa Quick & Easy Wax Strips Face & Bikini". It was obvious to me that it was going to cause some pain, but I gave it a try regardless and was very pleased with the results. Any stray hairs I plucked out with a pair of tweezers. I also bought some "Parissa Azulene Oil", not realising that a sample is included in the wax strips box. Anyway, the oil helps inhibit hair regrowth and ingrowing hairs. Since the initial wax, I have followed up by using an exfoliating mitt every other day, as well as applying more of this oil, helping remove any hairs beginning to form. The skin on my face has been stubble free since I started this process and should keep me going until I'm able to get Laser/Electrolysis.

Hope that this can help some of you struggling with this issue!

Thanks for sharing! :)

I've been doing laser, so I don't think I'm allowed to wax facial hair.  Something with the recovery process.  Still, I've been considering switching to waxing for my body hair.  I'm really not happy with my shaving results as there is still some stubble.  I'm a pale Italian/Irish, so I have to deal with dark hair over light skin.  It's terrible.

I have been shaving body hair too, I'm just too scared to wax yet, especially after watching The Forty Year Old Virgin xD

I'm hoping that when I start HRT I will have a drop in density and darkness of body hair, and at that point I will probably convert to waxing to finish it off!

I'm also pale British/Scandinavian so I'm pale but unfortunately have pretty dark hair which puts me in the same position as you! I'm sure we'll be fine though ;)
