Peri or keyhole are surgeries meant for people with very, very little breast tissue. It removes the tissue and and does not leave much in the way of scarring and does not resize or position the nipple/areola.

They simply cut next to it and remove tissue.

Probably not.  It's more like for people with a very small A cup.

You also have to take into account any sagging skin which would need to be cut off.

I don't have any sag when I gain or lose weight.

Ahh, but you very likely will when a surgeon suddenly removes the contents..

If I've lost weight?

OK, you have B-cups.. When a surgeon removes the contents of those B-cups, you will have loose skin left over..

Weight loss happens over time, which allows the skin to expand and contract.. When you surgically remove the contents of a breast, you remove all the flesh without the skin having time to contract - hence saggy skin..

Depends on more than chest size-- also how much skin, how elastic the skin is, how big the areolas and nipples are (they can resize to some extend) and where these are.

I was smaller than a 32A and had a double incision. The surgeon felt that there would be too much loose skin that may not tighten back up from the abuse my chest took from binding. There are more factors than cup size when it comes to surgery types and really only a consult with a surgeon who does keyhole/peri can tell you if you'd qualify for it.

Good luck on your weight loss. :)

It all depends on the amount of tissue that needs to be removed. I've lost a lot of weight and my chest is much smaller than it used to be. I've gone from a 36 b to a 34 a, but that was just fat. There is still the tissue to be dealt with. Loosing weight does not affect breast tissue since its glands and not fat. You would need to have very little tissue otherwise even if your chest is small there will be loose sagging skin. Remember that now there is still "filling". I've seen some great results with peri. But I've also seen some where the guy lost weight, had a small chest and still had sagging. I'd say trust the surgeon.

Breast tissue is mostly fat.. Anything up to 60%..

There is fat, but the glands are not fat. Trust me, there isn't any fat left on mine. It depends on the breasts and how the fat distributes. Boobs may be mostly fat for some people but the actually milk ducts and such are not

Unless your chest is a mass of tiny interconnected lumps, there's fat there...

Or maybe the 2 PhD's that taught me anatomy and physiology were simply wrong..

I wasn't saying you were wrong. Yes, there is fat, but the size and amount of the fat and varies based on each person. Some people have more fat than tissue, some people have more tissue than fat. That's why some women can have large chests with low body fat or small breasts with high body fat. I was simply saying in my original post that losing weight isn't the only thing needed for getting the peri, and that the amount of tissue is going to the be a contributing factor.

As for my comment about there being "no fat" on my chest, I meant that my ta-tas are mostly just the remaining tissue. I was engaging in hyperbole so sorry if it came across as being literal. Of course I have fat left but it's certainly not the majority of the mass.

I certainly wasn't calling you uneducated or stupid. I'm not looking to start a fight, I was trying to give some advice to a fellow guy.

OP: like I said before, you may be able to get peri after losing weight, but it will depend on your body. You will want to consult a surgeon.

At the time of posting I was about a 32C equivalent to 34B. I'm a lot smaller now. I lost weight so I'm more an A right now. I don't have extra skin though they just shrink really.

Breast tissue may mostly be fat but that doesn't mean that it will work off the same as other fat. But people who are overweight who lose weight will usually lose cup size. This is afaik.  Also some people will lose cup size on T. I don't believe I did though.

You must have lost a hell of a lot of weight in 1.5 months!  I have never had a chunk of weight to loose and then lost it, but I would think that losing 1-1.5 cup sizes that quick must mean some serious weight lose?

Like everyone else said, you need to ask the surgeon.  It is not just about cup size.  I understand the attraction some have to Peri, but I would suggest not assuming it will be the surgeon's recommendation.
