Hey y'all, I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me with this question. I was married to my husband in Texas, and we have since moved to Colorado because he's Air Force. We still claim Texas residency. I'll be transitioning surgically soon and will have a letter to change my gender markers on IDs and what not to legally be male. I've decided to leave my birth certificate as female. I was wondering if changing my gender markers on IDs but leaving my gender as "female" on my birth certificate would effect my marriage certificate in any way, and if that would mean an anullment due to Texas being a state where same-sex marriage is legal? I'm not sure how it will work out, and I am curious if I'll need to be ready to marry him again in another state if Texas will not honor the marriage.
Who's got two thumbs, is a FTM transsexual artist & moderate gamer who is outspoken about his opinions w/ an insatiable appetite for his enemy's shame? This guy

Marriage is a contract and is not broken by changing gender. I wish it were as for me it would make things much easier to afford.
