I have a few questions regarding levels during an injection cycle.

I just got my blood T levels checked and they were good. I'm on a biweekly schedule and got them tested at the one week after a shot.

Should your T levels be in the low to mid male range during the trough?

Is there any information on T levels over a biweekly cycle? I know everyone is different, but is there any average rate/range of T metabolism/absorption.

Should I get tested during the trough period? I've heard other guys get tested at peak and trough.

Hi, there.  I think that these are all questions that you should be asking your doctor.

I don't know anything about information or where you would find it (clearly indicated, anyway) on things such as the levels across a bi-weekly period or the absorption rates.

But I've always understood that when checking T-levels, it tends to be the trough that people pay the most attention to since, if your levels have dropped into "female" range at the trough, you may need to up your dose.

Somebody else may have more information for you. :)

Hi there,

First and for most consult your doctor or medical professional for any concerns you might have.

I have just switched from Intramuscular shots on a bi-weekly basis to SubQ shots ( into the fat not the muscle) every week. In my personal experience from the fact that 1. I was getting them bi-weekly and 2. I was injecting IM I found the peaks and the dips really hard to deal with meaning the first couple days I was over excited and hyper, but by the end of my cycle I was sluggish and sleepy all the time. T seems to be absorbed faster through muscle as well which was not helping me have a steady lvl. Now that I have switched I feel like my levels are more of a straight line rather then peaks and dips. Now the answer to your question is No. It wont matter when you take your blood test as there will be blood tests at 3 months 6 months a year and so on. So by your next blood check your levels will be at a more regulated state and docs can better grasp what your average level is at. And as long as your levels are IN the male range they should be fine. It is only when they are exceeding that range or are below that range that it is an issue.
