I'm not going to go into detail about my family cause I'm lazy so I'm just gonna say this...My mom totally accepts me, got rid of all my old pictures (per my request) and has been calling me he, my real name, etc. The only thing is, she keeps some of my old stuff (By "old stuff" I mean junk my parents got me that have my old name written on it) hidden from me and says she wants to hold onto "old memories".....Is there something wrong because I have no idea what this means.
Just being f-ing epic over here...

Don't read too much into it baby! Hanging on to old memories doesn't mean holding on to the past. it just means sometimes an object is a visual reminder of a certain period or event and invokes fond memories. I just finished today, in fact, hanging picture frames on my wall with pictures of me and my ambulances, helicopters, fire trucks/stations and uniform patches/name tags. To me they bring up memories both good and bad. It does not mean I am mourning their loss or anything. Everyone does this somehow. Relax baby, it's OK. :)
