HRT and weight gain......

I have noticed since i started HRT my appitite has gone throught the roof and i have started packing on the pounds..... am i the only one ths is happening to?

I know what i need to do to turn it around, but i never gained a pound before now..... i cant seam to stop.

Well, I can't stop eating but I keep losing weight.   I know that sucks to hear but its only because I had a lot of muscle.  Now its all fading away.  I had better stop eating so much too before my muscle loss crutch runs out and I start gaining a lot of fat.

its like you can lose weight fricking everywhere except stomach!
I guess thats what you get with having t on your body for so long...

Yep my metabolism has been fast all my life and still is but I actually can gain weight finally. So it has slowed down some since starting hrt but not by much.

I gained 5-8 pounds since I started almost a year ago, mostly from the holidays (cookies and junk food!) and starting progesterone in November.  I had to overhaul my entire lifestyle recently to compensate.   Low carb, no meat, 1+ hour of cardio per day.

Welcome to the girly world sweetie! Typically a woman puts on an additional ten pounds when going on HRT the little fem tummy is just a part of the program, cis women hate it, but it is what it is.

I have some stomach even though I've lost 10 lbs this year eating nothing but salad for the most part and walking 3-4 miles most days. I weigh 163 right now.

I was really hungry when I went on a transitioning dose of HRT in October and I ate too much over the holidays so now it's salad. I crave pizza and carbs though lol....

Today I started Progesterone so we will see what happens with that.
