I just went on estradiol (Teva) SL. It's not a high dose, but is it about a 4x factor when taking it SL?

How much swallowing is too much? I seem to just generate saliva when that pill is underneath!

How do I know it's complete?

I just clamp the pill under my tongue and let it dissolve. Once that is done, I just swallow what is left. Judging by my blood test results and what my endo says, this seems to work.

My first Gender Therapist recommended as long as possible, 2 minutes if possible. I couldn't make that long due to salivary production.

I seem to have this SL thing down now... it was a problem the first time. The second or third time I might have gotten a little distracted, but most of it went SL-ly. Now it seems to mostly work... just a faint taste if anything at all. I usually let it sit 5-10 minutes (swallowing saliva as needed -- which never carries taste, so a-ok I guess).

My blood work won't tell me how well it's working, though. . . my first bloods were from the day I started Premarin and my next will be 2 weeks after starting Estradiol SL.

But is SL kosher?

I think it's all in how they kill the pregnant mare...? But I'm off those meds (nor Jewish).
