Just wondering if anyone knows how much the new ones stretch out after 'breaking in' a bit. None, a little or a lot? I plan to never wash it in warm/hot water nor put it in the dryer at all.

I'm 43" under and 48" over, so that's supposed to be an XL. However, the last one I got in a Medium (before they changed everything) around the same measurements then didn't last because it stretched out too much (I had to get a Small instead). I don't want the same to happen again, so I'm thinking I might actually need a Large if they still have that propensity. What do you guys think? I'm going for the 998. Is it alright to get that one in slightly smaller size?

I don't know when they changed them, but I got a new tritop this summer and I was in between sizes so I went with the smaller one. It was a bad decision because I was thinking it would stretch a little and break in like my old one, but it still hasn't and I actually find it hard to wear. I only wear it over an undershirt because it digs into my skin too much and rubs my shoulders raw trying to put it on otherwise. I've washed it several times to try and get it to soften a bit but it's definitely not stretching as much as my old binder.

I'm sorry to hear about that but thank you. I'll play it safe with the XL.

Not sure if you've had 998 before but I hated mine and threw it in the trash. Compressed my ribs too much and had horrible compression for the chest, didn't get me flat hardly at all. I was in between sizes so I went smaller one like usual. I have very large muscular shoulders and chest but smaller boobs (small B) so maybe it was my body shape. I know I've seen others on here that hated the 998 as well so maybe not just my body shape. Just thought I'd let you know if you hadn't had one of them before.
