was going through my email today, and noticed I got facebook messages, and found out somehow my aunt found my facebook page,someone in my family gave it to her..and dhe started leaving very troubling messages..

Parts of my family have been bullying me, im really going to report her for harassment if she continues..
my mom and dad told me to start blocking my family,its kinda getting out of hand..

i've been cutting some ties lately,my mom and my dad have been checking up on me from time to time.He's actually really fed up with his happening, and I constantly and calmly try my best not to add more fuel to the fire as is.. but im ok, didnt put up the continuation of it, she has been to therapy, but says, that god is her only medicine, she said they diagnosed her with schizophrenia, not sure about everyone else. all I know is..

I was born in 1993..

but ill be okay, my mom and dad are actually trying to keep them away from me~ hence why I moved to Atlanta, they don't know where im at

Well at least you can take solace in the fact that the incantations and requests being sort in that prayer/mantra are fundamentally flawed. Hence whatever 'superior' power exists cannot invoke it's requests.

Birth defects happen no matter what you do. You can be thankful you've recognised this and are taking a positive affirmative action. This includes ignoring such rubbish. Nice of your aunt thinking about you, pity it was in such a negative and unproductive way. Well it takes all types.

Let this nonsense be like water on a ducks back, and don't take possession of any of it. Just pat your aunt on the top of the head and say "Dear, dear. Never mind, you'll get over it."

Isn't that the truth, there isn't exactly any passages detailing Jesus's rabid hatred of hormones and gender identity. The thing is many people will try to buttress thier own views with something they feel has authority even if they aren't terribly familiar with that authority. Be it the Bible, Quron, or even a secular document like the constitution people will always try and use these things to validate their own views.

If I were the OP I would probably launch into a diatribe about how wrong and stupid she was being. That being said, the smartest thing to do is more likely to send her a message saying that if she loves you then she shouldn't judge you and that she needs to respect you. If her response is anything beside 100% positive then block her. You don't need to be dealing with someone who isn't going to respect you.

Yeah. I went through this when a friend of mine turned religious. He was really hardcore about it  which was weird to me. We got into a discussion about it and I brought up the point about "Well, what about someone that is Jewish, Buddhist,etc? Isn't their faith just as valid as your's?" They freaked out and started screaming about how their's was the only one that was "correct." I just shook my head and said "Okay, dude...fine. Let's change the subject." The rest of the night was okay after that but it was still really weird to me.
