So I didn't see a thread like this anywhere and thought I'd start one since I'm curious!

Question is simple- what is it you do on a daily basis? Are you a student? Working? Stay at home? Do you have children? Do you have any life goals? You get the point :)

I'll start! I work at a vet hospital, I have for 7 years now and I really really enjoy my job. I have one furbaby and am a part-time student studying anthropology. I don't see any job prospects with my degree, but I enjoy it :P and I'm still considering applying to vet school, just worried that I won't be able to get in! I don't want that kind of rejection >.<

ok, now the rest of you!!! ;D

Interesting...

Well I stay home most days  playing lol watching anime,,,
I do go to some classes now and then and I do hang out with friends now and then...
Id rather not  though , at least not while I look like this,,,
Hanging out with guys reminds me how much I detest them and hanging out with girls reminds me how much Im jealous of them,,,
so at this point Id rather be alone in my house...

Up, work, home, TV, bed...
Up, work, home, TV, bed...

You get the idea.

Transition has pretty much put my life on hold for the past year or so, and it's not going to be over for a while, so I still haven't really had the chance to ask myself what I'm going to do with my life post-transition.

Before I started it, my goal was to save up enough money to go to grad school and get my teaching certification, but now I'm really not sure what I want to do with my life. I do want a family eventually, I know that I want to write, and I do still have an interest in teaching, I'm just not sure if that's my eventual career goal or not. So yeah... pretty much everything is up in the air right now, and all I'm doing is waking up, going to work, coming home, watching TV/anime, sometimes doing some writing, and then going to bed, slowly saving up money to get financially independent, and save up for surgery. And it's probably going to be 2-3 years or more before I've achieved that, at which point I'll once again start figuring out what I want to do with my working life.

I'm retired have worn eleven different hats in my working life so I won't bore you with the details. We are grandma and grand(pa) and love it, though we had a love/hate relationship with our own kids when they were growing up, especially when they were teens. My S.O. and I are attached at the hip and do a lot of things together during the week. During the warmer months she tends to her plants in the gardens and is gifted, she can talk dead things back to life and may be from Druid ancestry. I have an enormous Koi pond with a waterfall which I enjoy attending to. The big daily event is a stop at the local Starbucks for a coffee and one of their great little sandwiches. Other than that, I have too much time on my hands so I spend some of it here with you my extended family.

I graduated with an Associates degree last year and took an extra class in the summer.  Ever since then, all I have done was lay in my bed, sleep, eat, play video games, and be on Youtube and Susans all day.  I'm trying to change that as lately I've been applying to multiple jobs online in order to pay for my top surgery.

As far as my goals, I want to be able to transition (homrones with top and bottom surgery), and I want to be married.  I want to be working class and financially stable enough to be able to buy video games and take a vacation to Anime Expo every year.  I also want to move to a location up north in the states to where I can take public transportation to get wbere I need to get to because I despise driving.

Princess- When do you plan on transitioning? Perhaps just coming out and getting it over with will help ya cheer up! You're already incredibly gorgeous! If anything, I'm sure the girls are jealous of you.

Carrie: big commitment! But once it's over your life will probably so awesome! Having a goal and completing it is a sweeeet, sweet, sweet victory.

Shantel- that's adorable imagining you and your wife together <3 good for her for having a green thumb. I've always wanted to be good with plants, however I've only assisted in killing them >.< I used to joke that I had a brown thumb.. cus everything I touch dies. But then I realized how that sounded so I tell this story instead.. haha :icon_doh:

Edge- Awesome goals >:-) what kind of villainous activities shall you participate in? and wow, I didn't realize you had a toddler, more power to ya! Kids are too fragile imo, I don't want to be responsible for screwing them up- which is why I don't want any. I already have a dog that won't poop when anyone is looking.. still trying to figure out how we made her think it was wrong, so yeah, don't wanna do that to any kids xP

Malachite- awesome goals! I too hope to get to the point where I can take a yearly vacay to some con, though my choice would either be star trek con or fur con! and I HATE driving, too. See you up north one day? :P

Another person with an intense hatred of driving?  AWESOME!  I can't seem to find many people that share my "passion" for the hatred of controlling a car.  Sure I'll see you up north one day, on a train or bus.  ;D

I am transitioning currently...Im on e for 1 and a half month...
the thing is that right now im on that awkward stage , you know ,where people have a hard time telling what gender you are ,,,im planing starting full time when I feel ok with myself , when I feel that I look like a woman not something in-between hopefully on a couple of months...im glad with the changes so far and im sooo much better than I used to be...
Thats why for the time being Id rather be alone...just wait,,,thats what I feel like doing...

I'm not sure exactly yet. Right now, I'm just focusing on anything that gets me power.
Yeah I have a toddler. He was recently diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder too. It's been stressful.

I also don't like driving. I haven't even gotten my learner's yet because I want to avoid it.

well that sounds perfect princess :) but from all the photos I've seen of you, all I see is girl. I'm sure you'll come around to what the rest of us are seeing soon. It's good to wait until your comfortable though, you will know when the time is right ^_^

aww edge, I'm so sorry :( but I guess the bright side is that there is so much more awareness of autism that it hopefully won't be much of a hindrance in life. Think Temple Grandin. She is amazing.

I don't blame you!  I only got my beginner's permit so I had some ID to show at the video game store. The other "benefit" just happened to be driving under certain restrictions.  :D

Hang out, go stir-crazy during the winter months since I've been stuck in the house, listen to tunes, record Noise stuff, work on my fanfics, exercise on the treadmill every other day.

Add me to the list. It's a little odd when you get a car just to have others drive you around in it - but that's me. Funny, a year ago I was the only one with a car, but all the carless peeps drove me around.

That would so be me, lol.  I'd rather put my trust in another driver than myself.

my days lately go something like this

3 am wake up, change the baby, put another log on the fire, go back to sleep

5 am wake up, change the baby, put another log on the fire, go back to sleep

6 am wake up, change the baby, pass baby off to Mama Fox, check fire, cook breakfast, feed family/eat, make a pot of tea, lounge for a few minutes with the baby watching cartoons

then, not according to a specific schedule

clean the ashpit of the woodstove
have a cup of tea
change baby again
let geese and chickens out into the yard, throw them scratch grains or oats
dress warm and go out, run the chainsaw 1 to 3 tanks of gas depending on our needs and how I feel
come in and drink more tea
cook lunch
eat lunch, watch a cartoon with Fox and the baby
play with the baby while mama fox runs a bucket of water and washes diapers and other laundry with the washboard, or some days I do the laundry and she watches the baby
hand off baby to Mama Fox and do the dishes
cook dinner/make another pot of tea
take my supplements/pills
eat
feed and water the chickens, geese, turkey, goats, rabbits and donkey
collect eggs
come in, spend time with baby, have ice cream or some other snack
more tea
spend 10 mins to 1 hr grooming and performing beautification rituals
watch baby while mama Fox bathes, usually I put him to bed for the night around this time/ more tea
get on computer (I also log on when the baby randomly decides to nap and I have spare time)
join Mama Fox in the bath....if the baby isn't sleepy, we bring him into the hot water to relax him
socialize, massage, kiss, caress Mama Fox
have late night snack/tea
stock the fireplace for the next few hours, and go to sleep

some rare days (like tommorrow) I get to slack on my other chores though, and butcher rabbits or chickens.....and have fresh soup for dinner!

Lemme know when you need a mad scientist for your evil coalition of doom!  :o

Taking my very last class in my last semester for business, and hope to have a business of my own someday in manufacturing. Currently working nights and trying to balance the work/relationship/life-issues scale. I am a bit of a gear head, so I actually do like driving. And tinkering on anything mechanical. Other than that I'm a person of many hats when it comes to hobbies, from music to steampunk and cons, to flying. Though some I've tended too more than others lately.
