The closer to Livingston/Millburn, the better. My parents are really set against gender therapy, so they'd be more likely to go along with it if it's closer to us.

Right now I'm seeing a normal therapist, but she knows pretty much nothing about gender/sexuality issues. She also knows nothing about autism, and she seems pretty bad in general. She thinks that I'm "doing this all for attention", when if you ever met me, you'd know that I hate attention and am more comfortable when alone or with one or two friends. She also tried to tell me that since I haven't had sex, I can't know if I'm attracted to men or women. She also mentioned a bunch of ->-bleeped-<- about gender specialists and top surgery that was downright wrong.

Anyways, sorry about the mini rant ^-^ Any help is greatly appreciated!

I've spoken to this practice before. They were recommended by another doctor's practice (Dr. McGinn's practice @ The Gender Wellness Center) because they weren't taking on new patients for HRT at the time.

I hope this helps. I've never been there myself, but they were incredibly nice and helped me find a doctor in my area (I live several states away from NJ).  :)
