Warning don't read if you're hypersensitive to cynicism or unsavoury topics, I don't intend to offend of cause any kind of uproar. I seriously don't and I apologise if I'm not that well-educated In these issues, but I feel better versed than Blanchard in regards to common-sense/practical life experience.

So I recently came across Blanchards theory on Wikipedia - and now if you could visualise my head as a watermelon attached to the head of a dummy in a crash test slamming into a wall, exploding into an oblivion, that's pretty much how I felt when the summary/ logical process of the summary of Blanchards theory ran in parallel to what I think I know with the gaps missing.

Okay so firstly: Androphillic trans people transition to attract heterosexual men?! I don't even need to  question that as that's just ridiculous and completely alien to every practical real life experience/friendship I've had around trans females with preference for males.

And the second (gynophillic), that comes up on the forum and is something I can somewhat see having a thread of realist logic underlying it - with the exception of: Why would anyone with a sexual fantasy commit to procedures that knowingly destroys/decreases their sex drive, especially in the extremity of SRS surgery. It's just such a huge logical contradiction against the premise/origin of the original motivation.

And there has to be added: The pre-pubescent gender identity disorder = prevalence of which doesn't assimilate into the Blanchard theory.
