At the moment, I'm ecstatic. Would be happier with a partner, but if it doesn't happen, I'm still thrilled with my transition.

Yes, I do think it's possible. At least I hope it is, because I kind of abandoned all hope of ever finding a SO when I decided to transition, so I better be able to find my own happiness.

YES!!!! Just being me and not a fake is well worth it. I am happy, healthier, alive with life and gaining new friends every day. A boyfriend would only be a bonus.

there are so many ways to achieve personal happiness. many choose to be alone and find peace in their work, religion or other interests; others need a life partner and if so there is someone out there for each one of us. our special gift of being ts makes us look at the new alternatives and i embrace the challenge.

Yes! You can't share a life with someone else if you can't be comfortable and happy in your own. I think truly positive, compassionate and genuine people will always find love, no matter the circumstance.

I think in my current state...I haven't dated anyone in a long time.

So if I transitioned and lived as a girl and never found a partner, I am not sure how I would feel. One of the biggest reasons I want to transition and come out is I hope maybe it will bring me out my shell, allow me to be less socially awkward about dating or asking people out.
