Mr. Eldridge was none too pleased and in a fiery email to this newspaper told us that the Department of Education had no authority to 'push a homosexual/bisexual/transgender agenda on to our children while they are at school' or 'any sexuality that will create confusion in the vast majority of households in the country'. Mr. Turbridy, he said, was undermining family values and this could lead our children into 'dangerous situations'. He went on: 'It is obvious that this site is potentially very dangerous and it is reckless for RTÉ and the Department of Education to promote it. It should be taken down immediately before more damage is done to innocent children'.
