Last month my wife watched a movie called Twenty Feet From Stardom. It was about the lives of backup singers and how they are as much a part to the success of the stars. Many stars were once back up singers. Some of the names are Ike and Tina Turner, Darlene Love and the late great Luther Vondross. An excellent film.
