Kind of an odd question, but does anyone know of a way to keep a binder smelling "fresh" for longer? I wash it fairly frequently[every 2-4 wears], and use a scented soap when I do, but due to the fact that I work in a kitchen, I frequently find myself reeking of onions at the end of the day. The smell does genuinely seem to just be from what I'm working on in the kitchen, but it's not exactly a pleasant smell. any tips? I'd rather not have to wash it every single day, as I feel that would stretch out the fibers quicker, and it takes a while to dry.
Also, while we're here, I was wondering if anyone could give me some recommendations on new binders? I've got a relatively low budget, but I've tried a couple and looked at many "ebay binders," and they have all been side-clasps from what I've seen, which just hasn't been working...Kinda sucks spending what little money I do have, waiting the three weeks for it to ship, only to have more of a sports bra effect than anything. I've been using the 997 Underworks for a while, but it's getting on in age, and could use at least a swap-out[I only have the one so far].
¬Edit!: Felt I should add on that I fit into a D/DD when binderless, so I need something fairly heavy duty for compression.
Many thanks,
