So I'm at work currently and just got offered health insurance, but it excludes transgender coverage. I'm sure there's probably another topic about this floating around somewhere but I don't have time to search for it. I have to enroll either with my company or on the healthcare.gov website by the 15th, and I was wondering if anyone knows if any of the plans offered on the healthcare.gov website cover transgender care? Not even for surgery, which would be nice, but I've realized that even with the cheapest plan offered through my employer, it's going to take away my ability to save for surgery, as well as cost me more in the long run since I'll still have to pay full price for my labs and hormones as well as my weekly deductible for insurance that I'll likely not use much. Does anyone have any information on this for me? Or could you point me to a part of the forum that does, if this has been answered?

I think it depends on the state honestly.
