Where do you put the catcher of your STP?

I recently started using an STP with a medicine spoon type catcher and I'm having a hard time finding a comfortable position to put it in when it's not in use. It feels like in every position I try after a few minutes starts to dig into my skin, especially when I'm sitting.

What do you guys do?

What I used to do was flip the medicine spoon up. So the spoon end would be pointing towards my belly button.
