So, Jamie D left the forum a couple days ago after some stuff happened...

I thought it might help cheer them up (and hopefully encourage them to come back soon), if we posted here about the good times we shared with them. :)

Jamie is someone who genuinely cared about my feelings and looked out for me. They were the first person to notice and contact me when I was going through a rough time a while back. Jamie was there to offer comfort and friendship even though they weren't feeling very good themselves at the time, and it meant a lot to me. They were also one of the people who welcomed me to the forum when I first joined (yes, I still remember, and thank you), and is someone who always tried to be friendly and raise people's spirits. I always enjoyed reading their posts, which were often very informative, and they also helped out the site with various fundraisers and contributions.

Please come back soon, Jamie... We all go through rough patches and have our bad days and disagreements, and most likely, if we're here long enough, we'll even have our share of people who just don't like us for whatever reason, but I think there are so many more here who appreciate you and cherish your friendship. This forum feels emptier to me without you.

*hugs*

I'm really sad to hear this. Jamie was friendly, a great contributor and a strong supporter of the site. I've been a bit caught up in my own stuff this last week so missed the ruckus and clearly don't know the whole story, but I do hope you can come back to us Jamie. :)

They should be glad you spelled their name right, lol.

I hope Jamie doesn't leave for good, they've been very kind and supportive to me.

I've already noticed this.  :(

Jaime is a special member here.

This depresses me.  I found Jamie to be a great addition to this site.
