Called a beautiful young women and confused kinda

So today at work I got called by a old guy with an accent that I'm a beautiful young women. He kept insisting I was a girl. I'm not sure what to exactly think. It was def funny but it also makes me wonder if I'm truly a girl, not a guy or what. I was flattered, annoyed and humored to. Guy or girl am I? I've felt trans many times before. And I also wasn't dressed as a girl either.

Strange to say the least, but some people are very perceptive to others. Maybe your personality or body language is telling people something you haven't acknowledged yet? Could be you are putting off a female aura.

These things happen, I wouldn't read too much into it.  I would say congrats, but I understand the mixed emotions and don't know how you feel about it.  Your outer appearance isn't really a defining factor of what you feel inside, so don't let it upset you if it did.   

I'm sort of facing similar situations myself, so I understand why you may feel confused.  I guess everyone reads us differently, but yeah it does feel strange when your physically dressed the opposite side of the spectrum and still get it.
