Happy Post op Guy

I have always wanted to be able to post in this forum.
   Though I had had the first part of lower surgery almost 2 years ago, knowing that I had more stages to go, I didn't feel like I would be fully post op until then. And now, I am over a month post my final stage! I am so happy, so relieved and finally comfortable!

It has been a long road, and I did suffer quite a few complications within the first 2 or 3 weeks of healing from this final surgery, but things have finally all come together and I cant believe how normal everything feels now that all is over and done. I feel so happy and grateful.
    Everything works well and as it should. There have been no problems with urinating or sexually and the sensation has really improved since the first stage of surgery, which I am very happy with ofcourse....! The whole penis has sensation, and pretty sensitive in parts!

I enjoy being able to share things on this website, as in my everyday life, people don't know what Ive gone through, but I have wanted to share my happiness and relief

Who was your surgeon, if you don't mind me asking? I plan on getting a phalloplasty as well.

Make_It_Good, must feel so good to have all the surgeries over with and to be able to pee standing with no problem.   I sure look toward to being to have a full size penis and be able to stand to pee. I would love to be able to step up to an urinal and pee with a real penis. And you say you have feeling in it too.  Does it feel any different peeing through it?  I have thought about whether I want to try to get the erection device put in as the last step or is that asking too much. Congratulations on successfully getting through everything in such great shape.

Mandonlym - Hahaha, yes that is me (but that is probably about 2yrs old now actually...) but objectify away! :p That is a complete rarity for me, so I appreciate it ;p

Calder - My surgeon was Mr Christopher in London. Very good surgeon. I have done a write up in the lower surgery section if that helps, but good luck with your future plans

I am so relieved to have the surgeries over now. I, ofcourse was very thankful for each operation, but it is quite the task to fit it into your life, allow for time off, healing and travel etc. But it is all worth it.
   You ask if it feels any different to pee through? Well, I can feel the stream, if that makes sense.
I am not getting the device, and I doubt I will change my mind later. Its great for guys that do, but I don't want any more surgeries (including atleast a few more to replace the device throughout my life). There are a lot of factors, but I am happy as things are

That is so great! I remember some of your earlier posts about how you struggled with the NHS for years, even to get hormones. And now here you are. I can't imagine what a relief it must be to know that this is actually behind you - you're DONE. Enjoy every second of your life because you totally deserve it.

Birkin - Only just read your reply!
  I did struggle for a few years with the NHS. I know I complained a lot, but I am grateful for what they have provided, or I still wouldn't be able to afford even hormones at the moment. I find it weird how getting hormones was the hardest part! Once everything began, getting lower surgery was probably the smoothest and easiest bit! Haha.
   Thankyou for your words. I wont be taking what Ive been through, for granted, that's for sure! :p
