I thought this was pretty funny so I thought I would share it. I came out at work this week by introducing my transgender path and fulltime date of May 1st. The response was just super so in anticipation of this one of the last things that I left for my self to due for right of passage was to get my ears pierced. I went to this fantastic piercing shop and they did a great job. I obtained stay in stainless steel backs with two screw on tops. One a small SS stub and the other a pink jewel front. The plan was to switch between the two based on my current situation. So far so good. It sounded like a good plan. Especially since they need to stay in for 6 weeks minimum.
I left the shop with the pink ones installed and feeling great. She warned me that they may be difficult if your nails are a little longer
The next morning I went to switch to the SS stud tops which where quite small. I got the left one no problem like in 10s but do you think I could get the right side on. It was so small and the angles where hard to negotiate. I spent a huge amount of time trying and the only thing keeping me calm was HRT and the T beast is gone. I tried everything. Not to be beaten by such a simple thing it occurred to me that if I grab a 2" piece of heat-shrink 26 gauge tubing disinfected of course the best I could and attach it to the ball end it would create a pigtail to allow me to hold and screw on the top. 20s later I was good to go! All good no issues since.
So needless to say I was

but it was so funny and satisfying reminding my self in the process that guy person can still come in handy. Others may have something similar being able to leverage your guy past to our girl advantage and I would love to hear it.
