Being at work I'm reminded all the time and I love it. I truly am blessed to work in an artistic field. I'm about 90% stealth there. I returned to a studio I was previously at with a female name, but since returning people who didn't work there before have no idea and people who know don't say anything and it was like flipping a switch with those folk. I was Jack, end of story.
The moments I feel it most is in a group with just guys. The first time a conversation started that just proved that perceived girls are never really "one of the guys". You get the mental, childish, and, of course, crude comments; the playful slagging, and so on. It's that feeling of finally feeling like one of the guys in a real sense that was the most powerful for me. And when it's actually folk that know too, that's another moment of win.
