Anyone in SF know of a good trans-friendly salon?

First off, I'm not entirely sure this is the right place to post this, so if I'm in the wrong, please move it where it should go.

On to my subject -- I'm growing my hair out, still stealth mode in public, and am desperately in need of someone who can help me do something that works for both my presentations. My SO is more or less supportive, but anything too overtly feminine is probably going to make her uncomfortable, and I work in an industry that's okay with my androgynous fashion sense, but I would probably have problems if I tipped me hand too early (I intend to come out at some point, but not just yet).

With those caveats, can anyone recommend a good salon in or around the San Francisco area? Thanks in advance!

Here's one that has interested me.  It's copied off a list from Diablo Valley Girls in Contra Costa County (mostly a cross dressing group with a few trans members).  Never talked to them or been there.  But maybe when I get back to the bay next month I can see if they'll work with the little bit of failed hair I have left.

Are you in the City or suburbs?  No need to tell me where, just curious since I love the City.

ROBINSON COSMETOLOGY, 4330 Clayton Rd., Suite E,
Concord, 925-602-1040. This is a beauty school with supervised
student work, open Tuesday - Saturday. Appointments are
suggested. Services include a "shampoo & set" for $8, permanents,
hair cutting and styling. They also do hair coloring, hair color
touch ups, hair highlighting and hair extensions.

I should have specified, huh? I'm actually halfway between SF and Santa Cruz, on the coast, but I work in Silicon Valley and my doctor and therapist are both in the city, so that's where I'm looking. East Bay is a little more out of my way, unfortunately.

Another one from the DVG list.  Between 101 and El Camino Real, and a couple blocks from the Central Expressway.  It's been 30 years since I lived and worked down that way, so I'm sure the traffic is a mess.  Glad I live way up near Fairfield where there's still farms a mile from my house.  Well, lets say vineyards.

LAURA'S HAIR SALON, 845 Villa St., Mountain View, 650-
966-1960 or 408-245-8039
Very T friendly. 11/13

Hmm. Yelp reviews on that one are decidedly mixed, but maybe I'll give it a shot, thanks. :)
