Third Therapy session today… WOW!!!

I just have to tell someone so here goes. Today was my third therapy session and wow did we make progress. The plan is in motion for sure. While I know this is a process that will take several years I am so excited. But part of me is sad also as I know I am leaving a relationship and a possible friendship behind at some point. However I am going to cross that bridge when it gets here though.

So I need to lose some weight before I start HRT so this girl is going to hit the gym hard. Also I am setting up a appointment to see a dietitian. Going to start eating less and healthier than I probably ever had, shed some weight and get my girl on... (Big Smile)

It hit me like a brick driving home that my stomach just dropped. I am finally doing this... I swear ladies I am as excited as a little girl on prom night who know she is going to lose her virginity afterward...  I am just bouncing around at the moment...  Anyway I just wanted to share my excitement...

You are now going down the icy mountain road with no brakes! Just remember this moment though because there will be days you get down. You have all of us here when that happens so use us, often. I am so glad you are not expecting things overnight, that shows wisdom. Again, congrats!!! 🙂

I'm glad to hear that you are going to follow your heart and going for it. I myself is going to be hrt soon and I hope its gonna make me gain some weight with it, I hate being a guy I have always felt like a woman inside and in my heart I know this is who I am. I wish I could say more but my mind if kind of blank at the moment so all I can say is that I hope everything goes well with you. enjoy it veronica

Hugs and Thanks to everyone for your support and guidance. I told my therapist about the forum here and she was glad I had a support system such as this. Yes today is a good day. I am sure at some point someone will pull me off the ceiling but for now I feel great. It is good to know I am not the only one out there and there are others like me who have chosen to fulfill their dream. This has been a long time coming and I can't wait to start feeling like the lady I am...
