Today's my weekly weigh-in day at the gym and despite putting on muscle over the past week, I've lost just under a kilo of weight. So that useless extra padding is slowly but surely disappearing.

This time next year I'm going to be FAABulous! ;D

The lyrics to "You'll Never Walk Alone" have elevated my mood considerably.

When you walk through the storm
Hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark
At the end of the storm
There's a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of the lark

Walk on, through the wind
Walk on, through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown
Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone

Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone

Well the big one is that I got out to do some shopping and did productive work around the house. The other being that my fiance met a raver on the bus who gave him some body jewelry (got me two barbels for my brow) and commented on our commissions. I might actually have someone that can help me sell my kandi work.

Today is my 20th wedding anniversary and we are celebrating with a 1985 Dom Perignon.  We last had it 20 years ago today.

It is so much better now.

Aww, thank you sweetie!

When we have our 25th, we will have another ceremony with the clothes reversed. And hopefully we can find that Dom again.

I was reunited with another childhood friend.

This is Debra. She went by the name of Portia back in the day. (But now I have THE Portia so...yeah) This pic is much better quality than the usual pics I have posted since this was taken with my brother's wife's camera phone. I had to fix her nose with some cellophane tape, but she's in decent shape considering that she's been tossed here, there and everywhere since about 1990ish once she went in various closets in my parent's home. Now she's chillin' with Portia and everyone else on my couch.

Very cute, she's got a good home!

I Latched on to the spark of hope.
I embrace this spark, hold it close. ill never let it die. ill feed it with ambition.

I Take hope with me. That spark is who i am.
Ill offer any and all hope with every smile. and shield all those who smile at me.

I have a future and a dream.
And I bring hope to both.

Now she does.

She's a bit worse for wear (Especially when you compare her to the others. They were actually taken care of.) But she certainly won't be taking Portia's place. I will need to reassure her a bit so that she doesn't get jealous.

:D ;)

Lol, we used to have "Fat Bear", he was my wife's special security squeeze when she was little, we found him again several years ago but finally he just disintegrated and was relegated to the big teddy bear place in the sky.

They also have a big bear that is really old. They bought it for me when I was 2. But I didn't want it.

Found an audiobook of a book I wanted to read. I prefer this, as I can still work, go for a walk, etc. while listening. I have trouble doing work, exercising, walking, etc. without some kind of intelligible sound (white noise or anything like that doesn't do it for me, conversation, music, etc. is required) so that's pretty happy.
Hey, you've reached Lauren's signature! If you have any questions, want to talk, or just need a shoulder to cry on, leave me a message, and I'll get back to you.
