Snickers is so cute and attentive as she watches your every move, my dog is like that too. They are unconditionally loving unlike people.
Oh how this is sooooooooo true! Dogs and cats give unconditional love. 98 % of people I know do not. I have an ex SO (yea Auntie, it finally came to a head) that proves this point clearly.

I feel like I had a boobie explosion. Hmm, what'd I do or eat that was different? Well, I had me an egg salad sandwich, and a glass of soy milk, a short time after I look down and notice my boobs are all large and puffy. Whoa! Yay!  :D
I might have to try this. Anything special in that egg salad sandwich?

Well, things improved very quickly...a month ago I was in tears and feeling like crap because I had no job, not even a minimum wage one would call me back...as of today I have TWO jobs lol. The hours are flexible, but I plan to work 7 days a week whenever possible until I can pay for surgery. And they aren't minimum wage, I'm going to be able to save at least $1000 a month, more if I go 7 days a week.

And needless to say, it was a huge self-esteem boost when they both expressed genuine enthusiasm at my education and experience. I've had to disclose my past to one because of the police check, she seemed very surprised and goes "so, you're not becoming a woman anymore? I can put you in as male?" Lol. As for the second, we will find out what they think of that. They're young so it will probably be OK.

The bad news is that part of the job is working with violent people.

That's awesome! That's what I need. Well, except the part with working with violent people.

Eh, it didn't last long though. I still think it was the egg salad because I had more soy milk today and nothing. Nope, only thing making my boobs appear more plump is that I'm wearing two bras.

Haha yeah, I could do without the violence too. Fortunately the violence almost always has warning signs, so you can take steps to try and prevent it. If not, then you call the police.

Gee thanks, I was afraid you'd include your toilet wrench and beeswax seal.  ;D

Just practice an in charge presence and don't show any fear, you'll handle it fine!

That's so cool isn't it! My cat's are the same way. They anticipate and sometimes initiate play time, and what toy we play with!

Six years (as of this week) after buying my house, my front yard makeover is finally complete!   The landscape idiots are gone and I have pretty trees and flowers now.  Wheee!  I have some of the best curb appeal in my neighborhood now and my neighbors are getting jealous.  Yes, please, everyone else do the same so all of our houses go up in value!   It was great when the last seriously ugly house on our street got a makeover last month.

Way to go Jill, curb appeal is what sells it when that time comes too. I get letters in the mail all the time from strangers who like my house and want to buy it. Uh - Sorry folks they're going to take me out of here in a pine box, until then I'm staying, you're S.O.L!

lol no, those belonged to my mom. :P

I hope so. If I hate it I can always quit. :| But I'd be sure to find something first lol. Being unemployed blows, I'd almost rather deal with violent individuals than with the violence that my mind does to me when I'm not busy.

I actually think that I might have found a use for how I felt with the delayed transition and how crazy/erratic my emotions were before HRT. And how I sort of let my life go to pot. I'm going to be dealing with people who have unstable emotions, mental illness, and need help keeping healthy and keeping their lives in order. Since I've been through a lot, I think I may have some insight to offer that someone who hasn't had those struggles may not. That being said, some are so violent and "messed up" that honestly, the only good I could do for them is keep them clean, safe, and alive. :(

I had a Trans awareness training course yesterday, there's something ironic about me having to take the course but I can't quite put my finger on it  ???

All my previous sh*t in life has turned out to be a positive in the long run, experience counts big time and comes in handy as a reference resource!

I'm setting up an LGBT social group with help from the charity that ran the hostel I lived at last year, they are rated as the 11th best LGBT friendly company in the UK (& the highest rated charity), as i'm a volounteer they have to make sure i'm well trained & the first course happened to be Trans awareness. It keeps making me chuckle that 3 yrs after I came out & 8 months after I started HRT I have to attend a course on trans issues & rights.
At the end of the session I had a quiet chat with the nice man running the course & told him that his flow chart of the NHS procedures was outdated as of late last year & he very politely asked me if I could e-mail him the new NHS guidelines  ;D

So cool, what an opportunity and you present yourself as an asset to this man which can only come back as a blessing to you eventually.

I had to go to court and "fight" to legally change my name & gender marker on my ID and Birth Certificate and also applied for a new social security card. Today has quite possibly been the greatest day ever and my mom joined me in experiencing this day in person which made things even better. I have a new birth certificate with the right name and gender, my ID has a picture of a beautiful woman smiling.

What is really sticking with me is the lady at the DMV remembered me from my former name and old ID picture from 3 years ago after I gave her my court order and old ID. Her words after taking my picture for the new ID was "WOW! Come around the counter and look at your new picture! This is amazing!!!!"

Once the ID printed out we compared the two and WOW times infinity is all I can say. My old ID I couldn't even smile and looked miserable and in my new one you'd think you just saw the happiest woman alive.

What a day what a day what a day and I'm so happy that my mom was able to be with me and experience all the greatness, kindness & acceptance from so many random people today. She has been so afraid I'm going to be seen as some kind of monster by the public and the reality is I blend in just fine and I shine brightly in the process. People just love to talk to me and that's something that could NEVER be said of me for the first 29 9/10ths years that I was alive.
