I got my tattoo recoloured green and a darker blue. Now it looks better, suits me better, and is different from my ex's.

Today, after 3 months of planning, I came out to my parents.  I did it via e-mail, as we live in 3 countries, followed up by a Skype call.

I was astonished by their immediate and directly positive response.  But they were sad that I didn't think I could have talked to them about this 3 months ago when I was ready and fully decided.

I feel sad that I underestimated how strong their love and support would be.  Forgive me folks!

You're a very lucky girl Julia, as you know it doesn't always go as smoothly for others. Great parents though, congrats!

When you get them recolored does it scab over again like the original usually does?

Probably. I can't really remember what happened the first time, but this time, I have dots where I bled.

I'm thinking about the anime convention I'm going to (with friends!) at the end of June. I'm going as Izaya and my friend is going as Shizuo (both from Drrr!!). I'm excited.

HEY! If this is indeed the case and stays that way (Don't see why it wouldn't from how it sounds) then please remember to REALLY cherish them and be very grateful to have such kind, caring and loving parents who accept you for who and what you are and respect you etc. and remember to not take them for granted either. If only all parents could accept us as who we truly are.

The amount of times I as able to say "I yold you so" because they did not accept my advice in the ice hockey today. I told them they should of taken the over 5.5 goals option but the 'master gambelers' don't listen to little ol' me

Yesterday, I took my son to the park and there was a group of dogs there. One in particular found a stick he really wanted. Unfortunately, it was still in the tree. No matter how he jumped and how much he barked, he just couldn't get it. He didn't give up though. There isn't much cuter than my kid giggling and barking along with a jumping dog.

Today, I took him to the park again and he approached other kids to play. Mostly, he copied them, but still. This is a big change for a kid who used to only play next to kids instead of willingly interacting with them.

Sounds like a big improvement in his social development!

I came out to my parents.  I knew it wasn't gonna sound right face to face so I emailed my dad and explained my situation.  I asked him to mention this to my mum.  Anyway, he wished me the best of luck and I don't think my mum cares.  So now my immediate family and most of my best friends know I'm transgender and accept me.

I also get the Monday off.

Congrats, Kimberley.

The Children of Bodom shirt I ordered came in. I know shirts like this make it harder to hide my chest, but I can't hide my chest anyway and it's an f-ing cool shirt. Although, I am debating taking the sleeves off it. For some reason, I have a thing for sleeveless t-shirts, but can never seem to find any that I like.

Congrats, Kimberley.

Thank you!  And I'm glad to read that your kid's getting more social.
