My fresh polish on my mani/pedi matches my 1981 Maui Blue Stratocaster perfectly.  Now I know what to use to patch the chips on it!

Should I wear the guitar as an accessory?

A great walk around Sydney beaches.  Usually I travel directly from A to B and plan the route prior to starting out.  This time we wandered and paused when the fancy took us.  Discovered a lot and it was far more enjoyable than usual.  Perhaps the Universe is telling me something!

World Pride, I've made so many new friends and I've had a blast! Marching down the busiest street in Canada with thousands of our trans sisters and brothers really made me proud and having tens of thousands there supporting us and cheering was beyond description.

You know what made me happy today...nothing in particular, I just feel so friggin' good. I feel...girly, inside and out. For once (since over 2 months ago) I can say, while looking at my image in the mirror without being critical of some feature or other (I'm not seeing them), I am pretty. Hormones must be doing their thing.  :)

I feel happy with the things I did at work today. One of the girls woke up and she had peed in her bed and her PJs, and it must have happened in the middle of the night because it was cold pee. I cleaned her up, changed her into her favourite clothes, and washed her sheets and soiled PJs. I felt happy because I'm sure she was so uncomfortable laying in her own pee for that long. I mean, just imagine how it would feel to be stuck in your own pee like that, not be able to do anything about it, and then to have someone come and clean you, and give you fresh, dry, nice smelling clothes.

I don't know, I always thought cleaning up pee would be gross but to be honest, it made me feel good to know that I could play a role in making her feel happy and comfortable. Plus she loved me for the rest of the day. She's not able to speak but she followed me everywhere I went and she smiled and poked me and gave me kisses.

You sound like a really nice, caring guy birkin. Normally I go through peeps posts to find info on them, or should I say used to, nope trying to be sociable now, plus you got too many, so I'm curious now, what do you do for work? If you don't mind my asking.

The dress for Debra is arriving tomorrow. Now she won't look out of place compared to Patricia, Doris, Dotty & Portia. Mr Bacon doesn't count since he's a dude (and a plush piece of bacon :D). I still need to get some glue to fix her nose.

Going to a Dodgers game today and knowing I never have to use those mens' rooms again, AKA Chavez Latrine.  (That's a joke only a few of you will get...)

The thought of it just nauseates me no end, and the seats in the stalls are always pissed up by some lazy Neanderthal sloth!

Just don't wait until you have a full bladder to get stuck in the usual women's room line-up.

On one of the days I was dressed up as Loki at the convention, someone came up to me and asked me to hug his friend who was too shy and kept running away from me. So I fixed up my costume (it was really hot) and went downstairs to give her a hug. Today, there was a message in the convention's facebook group thanking me. Apparently, I made her very happy.

I'll bet. But you know, actually I used to always have very long nails (I still don't cut them unless I have to, but its hard to keep them with my job), and I've always found it easier for me to do anything with them long, its when one breaks or tears that I suddenly have trouble such as with grabbing things.

Oh, almost forgot why I even came to this topic, duh. Back on the hormones again! Woo-hoo!  :D
I tend to bite mine, so falses made sense.
The glue sucks though, I'll have to buy my own.

It's just as bad as the Dodgers ;)

Today has been a good one.

My un-happiness has eased although I still experience uncomfortable feelings from my clitoris.

When I get those horrid sensations it really makes me wonder why I have put myself through everything.

On the other hand when everything is working correctly and I can see the effects of my increased oestrogen dosage then the world is a wonderful place.

Apart from one time when I decided to jump out of a tree, I haven't needed pain killers for my ankels or knees for a whole month  ;D ;D ;D

I think my youngest daughter might be starting to accept my transition.

We had a very promising conversation in the car this morning. She started off by asking me whether I plan to attend any more Prides in the near future (I do) and then she asked why I bother going along to Pride; what's the point of LGBT people gathering together and marching around the place?

I explained that for just a couple of hours you feel valued and appreciated by the general public, which makes a huge difference from the way we're usually treated. She didn't know what I meant, so I explained that I've had people say nasty things to me, give me nasty looks and even laugh at me... and that I have friends who've been physically attacked just for walking down the street. But when were at Pride, we're with like-minded people... and for that brief period we feel accepted, valued and loved.

My daughter seemed to get it, and she left with a comment that her generation is much more accepting of LGBT people so the kind of harassment I've experienced will soon become a thing of the past. I hope she's right... but I also took it as her coded way of saying that she's becoming more accepting too.  ;D

That's awesome! I remember when she was violently opposed.

Yes I do. I wish I had that Taylor 814CE guitar model though.
