Ahh thanks, but it is still your turn to clean the staff kitchen

Do we have to clean the kitchen if we don't use it?

Very nice earrings Cindy, I need to get new piercings myself as well as find my earrings.

No but the bike shed needs a clean!

Thanks everyone, they are cute, and so is he :D. I just wonder why he puts his earplugs in everytime I start talking ::)

It was the coldest August day in Adelaide for over a 100 years.

We all know who lives in Adelaide now don't we?
I don't think she would have been too happy.

Could be worse.

It's because I'm new, isn't it?

As for the earplugs, timing? I dunno, I don't think he'd ignore you and at the same time give you a nice pair of earrings. Then again, I have no clue what dating men is like and unless a certain Ryan Reynolds ever expresses interest that will never change. I'd offer my take on it, but I was never fully male anyways so I'm no help lol

Wait a minute, I can't cook, I just nuke stuff!

Gentech, don't take Cindy too literally. Her guy would never really use earplugs when she is around.

Lucky you Cindy... ;)

He wouldn't need to. Hearing tests perhaps?

I just take his white stick and dentures away and he professes undying love

lol, that made me chuckle Cindy.

LordKAT, I'll take over your cooking duties if someone else cleans up. I do love to cook, it's kind of a passion that I would pursue if I had even half the talent of some of the "amatuers" on Master Chef.

Don't worry Cindy, keep you space heater close.

At home last night it was -10c.
Now that's nasty cold.

Glad I'm not there now.

Am I the only one who prefers cold to heat? When it's cold you can keep adding layers and blankets. In the heat you can only remove so much in social situations, and even in the comfort of your own home, only so many layers can be removed. So grateful the last couple days have been on the cooler side since my a/c is broke (a broken a/c in California, especially in the valley, not fun times).

I'm Alaskan, so I really can't handle heat.  I remember I was talking with a couple of friends who are originally from Somalia last year, and I said they could laugh at me all they wanted once summer came and I couldn't deal with the heat but they weren't used to humid heat so we all thought it was way too hot XD

I tend to handle humid heat better than dry heat. I don't like either to be honest, even during the winter I try to keep my apartment in the low 70s (Fahrenheit). I would much rather have a cold room and snuggle up with my blankets than have to kick my covers off in my sleep (can't fall asleep without a comforter over me, even in triple digits. It's a comfort thing I think, much like needing some kind of white noise like a fan or the tv on to sleep).

I've also found in my dating, I have bad luck finding someone who can share my bed and allow me to have the tv or radio on. I have difficulty sleeping without it.
