A pet peeve...

Gay men who think it's okay for them to touch women without their permission, especially when they're trans. Get your hand off my ass. Gay men who address women they don't know, as "honey." It's condescending. Gay men who go to drag shows, so they think they have trans women figured out.

I'm grumbling about a recent experience. Don't get me started on the way the word ->-bleeped-<- is thrown around.

Gay men, I love and support you so much. I know that, despite all the wonderful social advancements that are made, society still beats you down again and again. But in the LGBT community, you are at the top of the privilege ladder. Please don't act like the dickwads you have spent so much effort overcoming.

Which is why I don't go to gay bar(being not much of a drinker I don't really like any bars).I thought I was the only one who noticed this.

Come to think of it, the only person that I've never seen a gay guy call "honey" is another man who they perceive as straight.

How this is the most commonly shown gay stereotype. You're not saying that at all and I don't mean to imply otherwise. What you listed are pet peeves for me too along with the fact that this is what a lot of people think of when they think of queer men.
Oh yeah and when some gay men are called out on their use of the word "->-bleeped-<-" and then get defensive and insist they can use it however they like.
