Hey, hi, how's it going?
In case it is not glaringly obvious by my blatant awkwardness, this is my first post here. Hello!
I'm JT and I am a twenty-six year old transman. I have been out as transgender to my friends since fourteen and my family since twenty-two with varying results. Luckily, what I'm lacking in familial support is more than overcome by friend support, so I'm doing pretty good.
My path to gender clarity has been long and fraught with doubt and my own self-defeating tendencies, but I have emerged victorious.
I had to pause my transition plans because of a cancer scare late last year but now things are on the up and up and I am ready to roll. My second visit with the gender therapist is tomorrow and thus (re)begins the three month evaluation required by my state. Huzzah!
